MEC Community Competition
Lead Ice Climbing
Introducing, the inaugural MEC Community Competition in lead ice climbing. Our local team of setters will modify the finals routes from the UIAA Ice Climbing World Championships for our open community competition. This competition is open to experienced climbers of all genders not competing in the World Championships.
Competition format: flash format, single attempt, randomized climbing order
Schedule: (Tentative)
2:00pm - Technical Meeting for competitors and judges
2:30pm - First Climber Start
Registration Fee: $25
Prizes: Thank you to our official competition sponsor, Mountain Equipment Company, for providing all of our prizes! Winners will be announced 15-20 minutes after the final competitor climbs.
