Drop-in to Climb
NO PRE-BOOKING REQUIRED.
We recommend first time ice climbers to book in for an Intro to Ice Climbing lesson or a private lesson here. No ice climbing experience is required to drop-in to climb, but all drop-in climbers must pass a free belay test (once). Drop-in passes and rental gear can be purchased at the ticket kiosk.
Daily drop-in rate: $21
Full rental package: $15
Single item rental: $5
Full rental package includes:
Helmet & Harness
Climbing boots
Crampons
Ice tools/axes.
To save time when you arrive, fill out a waiver before your first visit this year.
Note: A belay check is not needed if you are able to show a YEG Ice Wall belay tag or a lead or top rope belay tag from Factory climbing. If you need to do a belay check (free) check in with ice wall staff when you arrive.
Purchase a Season Pass
Plan on climbing more than 5 or 6 times this season? Then you should purchase a season pass! Passes are $100 for Alpine Club of Canada Edmonton Section Members and $130 for the general public. Season passes will be applied to your account.
To save time when you arrive, fill out a waiver before your first visit this year.
We will keep our ice wall open for as long as weather permits (typically early-mid March).
Note: Season passes do not include gear rentals.
